Questions and limitations

Is the last number in the name the exact mass per metre?

It is nominal. For example, the listed mass for 203x133x25 is 25.1 kg/m. This calculator uses the manufacturer value.

Can this result determine a safe lift or a beam capacity?

No. It is an arithmetic mass estimate, excluding fittings and coatings. It does not design a lifting operation or check structural resistance.
